Must See:
Beach: When locals or tourists think of Scheveningen, they instantly think of a beach area by the sea. This is the perfect place to visit on a hot summer day for a day trip or a mini vacation for a few days. If you plan to stay just near the beach area there is plenty to do, see, and eat! There is a casino nearby and for the daredevils out there, there is a place to go bungy jumping right beside the giant ferris wheel over the water. The pier on the water also has some fun restaurants to go to and some of them feature events during the summer and live music during the night time. Lastly, I cannot forget the amazing sunsets in the summer, and some of the restaurants on the boardwalk have the perfect viewing spot for them.

Musea: There aren't many museums near Scheveningen, so if you are in the area and want to venture off to some, you will have to take a quick tram ride to The Hague. There are some closer to Scheveningen such as Museum Beelden aan Zee, which holds works that focus more on contemporary sculpture, and Muzee Scheveningen, where you can learn all about the little seaside village, it's history, and even what creatures live below sea level there. The Hague has a bigger selection, so if you are in the mood for more art museums, go check out: De Mesdag Collectie, Escher Museum, Gemeentemuseum Den Haag and more. If you want more of a science museum experience, then look no further than Museon. If you are wanting more history, then National Archive and the Prison Gate Museum are for you.
Tours: Just like most cities in the Netherlands, you can take all kinds of tours like canal tours, museum tours, bike tours, you name it. Some tours in and around The Hague feature special biking tours that show the best highlights of the city, food walking tours in The Hague, day trips to places like Delft, as well as some museum tours. Others offer more day trip options to surrounding cities like Rotterdam and Lieden, which are definitely worth while seeing in my opinion.
