Located right in the center of the Netherlands, Utrecht has a beautiful charm that very few cities in the Netherlands have. It has canals, greenery, old architecture and great big convention halls. There is always something to see. A city known for its historical beauty, it is the place to be if you want to experience the character and vibe of a small provincial town but still want the benefits of a big city. There are tons of hidden gems of shops and cafes to find but walking around the city center won't have you elbowing your way through heaps of people.

Utrecht's biggest shopping center right in the heart of the city connected directly with Utrecht Centraal station makes for a convenient place to stop and do some shopping. There are also a lot of food places ranging from traditional to American chains such as Five Guys, which was just added last year.
