Beers & Barrels at the Harbour: If you are in the mood for beer and burgers, this is the place for you! With their extensive beer and alcohol menu, you might just have to try a few while you're here.
Dogma Hotdogbar: Hotdog 2.0! Made fresh with a delightful twist.

Asian

Umami Utrecht: Just like Shabu Shau in Rotterdam, this place has an all you can eat option with an amazing selection of foods to choose from. Make sure to come hungry for some of the best sushi.
Eazie: A fun little place to create your own wok noodle bowl. Choose your noodles, protein, and mix-ins for a modest price.
Ramen Brothers Noodle Bar: Great ramen placed in Utrecht if you are also craving noodles. They serve up some yummy bowls and offer a nice bunch of side dishes as well.

Dutch/Traditional

Winkel van Sinkel: Bar and restaurant which is located in the center of Utrecht with great atmosphere and nightlife with events happening weekly!
Humphrey's: Not an extensive menu here but a decent selection of starters and main dishes with amazing desserts.
Graaf Floris Cafe: Superb little cafe with a nice warm atmosphere and good food. One of the best in Utrecht, I recommend to try the apple pie.

Seafood

Sea Salt Saloon: One of the best places in Utrecht to go for seafood. Friendly staff, and will let you bring your small to medium sized dog if you ask ahead.
The Seafood Bar: Very close to central station, enjoy a plate of mussels here or the catch of the day. Extensive fish menu but more on the pricy side.
Vis 'n Friet: Come here for delicious fries and fried fish of course! Prices are very reasonable and the fish is fried perfectly.

Sweets/Desserts

Frenchie Cafe: Small cafe serving pancakes to freak-shakes, and other Instagram worthy foods. I recommend the Unicorn pancakes and their hot chocolate on a cold day.
Ijssalon Luciano: Cozy little space to relax and have some ice cream. Fair pricing and the ice cream is very creamy and soft.
Bond and Smolders: Praised as one of Utrecht's best bakeries, and for good reason. Locals recommend the 'appelbol' (hot apple pastry) to try.
